Our UN/DOT third-party performance oriented packaging certification agency (+CB) is also an ISTA certified laboratory (ST-2227) with ISTA Certified Packaging Laboratory Technologists. We perform all major industry approved package testing protocols including:

• UN/DOT
• IATA
• ICAO
• all ISTA Procedures

Our package testing spectrum covers:

• drop testing
• incline impact testing
• shock data recording
• dynamic and static compression tests

Our environmental chambers simulate extreme temperature and humidity conditions encountered during warehouse storage and distribution. Field data recording instruments can be stowed in packages to record real-world shock, vibration, temperature and humidity conditions.

We have one of few worldwide labs that maintain TAPPI standard temperature and humidity conditions (23°C w/ 50% RH) throughout the lab. This ensures objectivity and provides the critical consistency necessary to perform comparative and developmental testing. Two 12’ x 8’ walk-in environmental chambers and a programmable atmospheric cycling chamber allow simulation of required conditions for single packages or multiple pallets. We determine the best testing approach, and deliver detailed analysis and evaluation of test results.

Our full range of services uses all industry standards including TAPPI, ASTM, ISO and DIN. With testing, you get valuable feedback for COAs, process control and product development, useful for converters, printers, manufacturers and other specialized industry fields. We also perform customized design testing and reporting with historical trend analysis.
